The AfriSky interactive computer lab solution was initiated by a group of passionate, technology experts who wanted to make a positive impact in the education sector assisting underprivileged communities across Africa. This is what makes our solution unique:
Our solution allows educators to take full control of all screens within the lab environment, with active monitoring, casting, powering on/off all devices, displaying on-screen messages and sharing any screen with anyone within the lab facility. This promotes collaboration while allowing the educator to keep an eye on their class.
Afrisky will register a domain on behalf of your facility and migrate all users to GSuite for edu to enable a world class cloud offering comprising of: Google Mail, Calendar, Classroom, Drive and Hangouts. Each student and educator is assigned an account which allows them access to these tools from anywhere on any device.
We care about our environment and to promote this we have partnered with large organizations to recycle their enterprise grade hardware. We refurbish and upgrade the hardware to allow our students to benefit from utilizing the systems within their school computer labs. Once upgraded, these systems will provide utility for another 3-5 years.
Our implementation is centered around an internship model where our objective is to provide real-world experience to future technology professionals. Our team promotes active learning by sharing their knowledge and experience with tech savvy students at your school to allow us all to better support your lab environment.
